Our client is a mid market advisory firm who is looking to recruit a Corporate Finance Manager. The role will focus on the execution of deals in the healthcare space.
The role
Work closely with the Partner/ Director in leading and excuting M&A and related engagements
Conduct and manage the production of technical, financial and commercial business analysis to a high standard
Conduct buyer and seller long and shortlisting
Be prepared to contact and articulate both non-confidential and confidential value propositions
Prepare confidential business profiles and information memoranda
Project manage multi-party M&A transactions
Evaluate offers received
Assist with deal structuring and contract negotiations
Support the client in preparing for due diligence
Coordinate other advisers throughout the process
Proactively support other team members at all times
Manage the analyst and other team members assigned to the project
Take a significant role in deal origination work – including relevant industry research and pitch document preparation – and participating in pitch meetings
Develop deep sector expertise across marketing services, technology and digital media, including M&A activity, valuation trends, buyer interest, and industry trends
Take a lead on selected thought leadership initiatives
Support deal origination activities , including helping to develop and deliver sales pitches
Experience and other skills required:
3-5 years’ experience in running and driving healthcare transactions
This could have been gained in investment banking advisory, corporate finance advisory, Big Four M&A, or the healthcare M&A team of a healthcare company
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple M&A assignments from start to finish, manage client relationships and build trust with clients and other advisors
Financial modelling skills
Attention to detail
Desire to teach and develop analysts and other transaction managers
Enthusiasm for working with mid-market, owner-operated or VC/PE-backed companies on M&A and fund-raising transactions
A full working visa for the UK is needed
