We offer two internship dates starting in either January or June. The program is the main pipeline for our full time 2016 graduate program and candidates will be considered for positions at the end of the internship.

What does the Program Offer?
- Minimum 6 month internship: January - June or June - December
- 3 months in our Paris Office within the Country Coverage team
- 3 months in our London Office within an Industry or Product team

To be eligible you must be:
- Fluent in French and English
- Available to start in either January or June 2015
- Available for a minimum of six months

What does Investment Banking Cover?
Our Investment Banking group provides a vast array of advisory and capital-raising solutions to corporations, financial institutions, governments and public-sector organizations around the world. Our global teams act as geographic, product and industry specialists. We deliver Asia to our clients – accessing deep pools of liquidity and dynamic growth markets. We have cross-border collaboration in M&A, DCM, ECM, and solutions businesses, and across global sectors such as FIG, natural resources and power, and financial sponsors.

What role might you play?
We endeavor to provide interns with the same level of exposure as a first-year analyst, participating as a full member of the team.
- Deal execution: Working closely with clients and execution teams (lawyers, accountants, consultants and bankers) on mandated transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, capital raisings and restructurings.
- Client relationship management: Generating and presenting ideas at client meetings alongside senior bankers.
- Strategic analysis: Supporting transactions and client presentations with financial, structural and business risk analysis.

As an intern, we expect you to form effective working relationships and demonstrate a commitment to Nomura’s goals and values.
