Afraz Advisers was established by Mahdi Kazemzadeh, formerly BP, in Dec 2013 to offer client-focused advice to a growing number of distressed e&p clients in the MENA and CIS region. The firm since has been advising on over $100MM transactions involving divestments and growth capital raise. The firm works with an established partner bank in London for sales offering and execution.

The firm is seeking to bring in an experienced corporate finance professional to complement and support the technical A&D offering of the firm.  For the right candidate its an opportunity to be a part of and shape a growing advisory business. The position will be based in London working closely with the founder. The perspective candidate must be entrepreneurial and be able and willing to contribute to the growth of the business from day 1.

Position requirements: 
• Able to originate and execute M&A transactions without supervision
• Ability to demonstrate previous track record delivering/ leading corporate finance mandates in the oil & gas sector
• Top financial modelling and valuation skills
• Working knowledge of key steps for small/ mid-cap transactions and IPOs
• Working experience of oil and gas accounting techniques
• Good knowledge of debt advising/ restructuring
• Good knowledge of Regulatory requirements (e.g. AIM listing)
• Eligible to work in the UK
• International experience and foreign language is a plus
