Operations Analyst (1 Month Initial Contract), CuttingHedge Recruitment

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated candidate assist a start up hedge fund based in the West End with their immediate Fund launch. They are currently looking to hire an Operations Analyst who will have broad responsibility across operations and trade support. This offers a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a group of high calibre people and progress the fund.

Role
The position will be to undertake all operational functions for the firm:
• Monitoring trade flow
• PB and FA reconciliations
• Trade Support and Capture
• Settlements and clearing management
• Elements of collateral management
• Commission management
• EOD cash wires processing
• Reporting and MIS.

Experience
• Graduate with experience in a macro/fixed income fund
• Good macro/fixed income product knowledge including government bonds, repo, listed derivatives, OTC derivatives – swaps, swaptions, FX sport/forward/NDF/options) including their basic mechanics, how they price, settle/clear, are margined etc.
• Experience in the buy side
• Confirmations/documents experience is a plus.
