PURPOSE:
Analyst/Associate in the Global Client Coverage Office, working in a corporate development, business strategy and analysis function to support Coverage efforts
Working closely with senior members of the Global Coverage team and analysts in the COO Office, and with primary responsibilities focused on supporting global coverage roles (Global Head, Client Experience, Sales Enablement)
Involvement in divisional and country business planning, strategy implementation, industry analysis, sales strategy and performance tracking, with senior oversight
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists with the creation, implementation, and tracking of key coverage activities globally
Provides primary analytic support, including preparing discussion materials, initiative overviews, and other presentations, as well as preparing summary notes for governance purposes
Frequently requires coordination and partnership with the COO office and Functional partners (including Client Operations, Product, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, etc.)
Participates in meetings and working groups associated with current initiatives
Liaises with Coverage MDs, in particular regional heads, and I&TS; Business Heads as appropriate, for cross-platform initiatives
Actively involved in preparing key Coverage strategy documents, including annual business plans, sales and pipeline trend analysis and performance analysis, and client experience analysis and planning material
Includes the preparation of presentations as well as key briefing or follow-up materials as directed by the global coverage MDs
Examples include country/regional business and sales strategy and planning reviews and action plans for selected I&TS; geographies and products (offices in 15 countries)
Responsible for providing primary analyst support to the global coverage heads (MD, Client Experience and MD, Sales Enablement) and the Global Head of Coverage as required
Works in coordination with that team on key initiatives, assignments or deliverables
Often works in partnership with other I&TS; teams and groups on assignments related to the global business, while maintaining consistency with the I&TS;’ global initiatives
Provides regular updates to the broader Coverage team as required
Applies a corporate finance approach to day-to-day analysis and responsibilities
Supports the global coverage heads with specific assignments where financial analysis and modeling may be required
Supports the transition of the I&TS; Coverage team to steady-state as new disciplines are implemented across the global coverage team
Assists with cross-training other team members on analyst responsibilities to support benchstrength creation and team continuity
Engaged on special projects for the Coverage team, as well as in support of I&TS; or enterprise-wide objectives and projects, as required
AUTHORITIES, IMPACT, RISK
Works closely to support the three Global MD roles in Coverage
Directly responsible for the accuracy and quality of presentation and reference materials prepared for and presented to senior management

WORKING CONDITIONS
Analytical work requires significant attention to detail, working with MS Office Suite
Some stress resulting from stringent deadlines during peak periods
This role will require long hours during peak periods
EDUCATION &/OR EXPERIENCE (Required)
Some experience in an analyst or corporate development role (preferably with experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Insurance, Asset Management, Transaction Banking or related consulting firms
Undergraduate degree in business or commerce
Proven analytical and consulting skills and strong quantitative background

Ability to excel in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills are necessary
Highly proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
Strong organization, project management skills and ability to multi-task effectively
Self-starter with ability to adapt and contribute a dynamic work environment and varied responsibilities
Ability to manage effectively manage competing timelines and priorities for multiple teams and across global time zones
