Private Equity Associate, Visium Asset Management

Visium Asset Management manages over $7 billion in long/short equity hedge funds, private equity funds, and multi-strategy funds with offices in New York, London, and San Francisco.

Responsibilities:

Visium is seeking two Private Equity Associates to join our Visium Healthcare Partners team. Positions are available for both the New York and London office. Visium Healthcare Partners provides customized financial solutions to growth-stage healthcare companies in both public and private markets. The Fund seeks to deploy capital globally through structured investments in royalty interests, revenue interests, secured debt, and equity securities. 

Associate responsibilities will primarily be focused on supporting the Fund’s investment activities. Specific responsibilities will include: industry, company, and product research and due diligence; developing and maintaining financial models and valuation analyses; and preparing investment presentations, proposals, and memoranda presentations. Additionally, Associates will be involved in supporting other activities of the Fund including fundraising, business development, portfolio management, and investor relations.

Requirements
Qualifications:

2-3 years of investment banking, capital markets, private equity, management consulting, and/or corporate development. Must have experience in the healthcare sector.
Undergraduate degree from a top university.
Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
