My client, a infrastructure fund seeks an analyst to join it’s team based in London.

The company focusses on sourcing, executing and monitoring equity and equity linked investments primarily in non public Infrastructure (transportation, energy and utilities) companies on behalf of investment funds advised by the firm.

The candidate will have the opportunity to work in many aspects of transactions including investment evaluation, execution and post investment monitoring.

The candidates responsibilities are likely to be in the following areas:

. Financial analysis and modelling
. Investment evaluation
. Due diligence work and advisor coordination
. Investment approvals
. Management of and reporting for investment funds
. Post acquisition investment monitoring
. M&A process co]ordination

The candidate will find the opportunity to gain in depth knowledge in the following areas through engagement with all members of the team, external advisors, financiers, other investment firms, investors and others:

. Investment process
. Financial and accounting skills
. Legal skills
. Risk analysis
. Investor relations
. Fund raising
. General market and sector specific knowledge

Requirements

The ideal candidate will satisfy the following criteria:

. Excellent academic record from a leading university
. Financial statement based modelling and/or M&A experience

. Strong interpersonal and communications skills
. Fluency in European language(s) well regarded

. Demonstrated leadership ability, initiative, a willingness to learn and strong work ethic
