Responsibilities:
Support various asset management initiatives including dispositions, refinancings, capital expenditure, leasing and management changes across a range of asset classes
Carry out detailed financial modeling and analysis to evaluate portfolio investments and strategic decisions
Interface with external advisors, portfolio companies and joint venture partners to manage transaction execution, monitor performance and implement operational initiatives
Support commercial aspects of fund management and capital raising
Develop detailed cash flow models for quarterly asset valuations and reporting
Desired Experience & Profile:
Experience in Alternative Investments Advisory, portfolio management and asset level financial modelling is required
A background in Real Estate is required
Top-notch Excel modelling skills
A Masters in Finance is required
Understanding of finance and accounting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in a dynamic team environment, strong work ethic and multi-tasking skills
Qualifications:
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and are proven self-starters. In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, the successful candidate should have excellent communication and leadership skills, a demonstrated ability to write effectively, interests outside of work and a desire to work in a team environment. European languages are preferred.

The Blackstone Group was founded in New York in 1985 by Pete Peterson and Steve Schwarzman, who were previously working together at Lehman Brothers. Investment Strategy
Blackstone pursues non-hostile investments in a diverse range of sectors, primarily in North America and Western Europe.
It has a value-oriented, conservative investment approach which leads it to use “prudent” leverage and focus on companies with leading market shares in stable industries
It is willing to examine complex transactions and performs rigourous due diligence including externsive macroeconomic research and industrial analysis
Other investmetn premises include add-on acquisitions, proprietary deal flow, corporate partnerships and creative exit mechanisms
Target investment size between $250m and $1.25bn
