Large US / International law firm, is looking to recruit a City-trained Ship or Asset Finance Solicitor (1-4 PQE) to join their expanding and prestigious Ship Finance team.

From their offices in the City, our client acts primarily for ship owners and financial institutions with most of their work being cross-border in nature, meaning you will work closely with colleagues in Paris, Piraeus, the Middle-East and Hong Kong.

You will act on a broad range of matters, including:

Structured and tax-based finance, including leases;
Charters (including hire purchase) and other operational and commercial arrangements;
Joint venture agreements;
Credit enhancement;
Vessel registration and ownership structures;
Workouts and enforcement mortgages and other ship-related security;
Shipping aspects of corporate M&A and privatisations.
This role will suit a London-trained Ship or Asset Finance Solicitor with an outstanding academic record, who is looking to make their mark within a prestigious Ship Finance team.
