The client is a leading global independent Investment Bank, originating in the USA. They are consistently ranked in the top 10 M&A advisors for the US and they continued to grow adding offices across the globe and now have a true global footprint with a presence across the USA, Asia, Middle East and Europe allowing for a great deal of cross-border activity. The firm have grown to 650 people worldwide including 120 people in London.

The Restructuring team was ranked as Restructuring House of the year in 2014 and is one of the leading teams in London. Their coverage is global and they liaise with their sister teams in the USA and the rest of the world, doing deals in Europe, Africa, the Middle East as well as sometimes the USA.

Many of the seniors in the team came across as a team from Close Brothers and have remained as a unit. The MDs are heavily involved in the day to day running of the deals and are very approachable figures for the more junior members of the team. The team also offers great client exposure to junior members. They also work alongside the M&A team and the sector teams on deals which only enhances the team.

Requirements:

Associate with strong restructuring experience.
Intelligent, performed consistently academically (min 2:1 or equivalent in a Bachelors degree)
