AIG are hiring a Treasury Liquidity Analyst to assist and maintain liquidity scenario stress testing for EMEA Treasury in order to achieve the wider finance goals of driving and protecting value for the organisation as a whole.

Truly knowing our contingent liquidity position under various scenarios is crucial in allowing Senior Management to be in a position to manage the business should stress occur. Stress modelling is also an important focus point for our lead Regulators.

The job role will be broad based in nature and cover a range of treasury related services including Investments, foreign exchange, funding, liquidity and cash management amongst others.

Key Responsibilities -

To gather business/finance data and using that to perform monthly liquidity stress testing for EMEA entities on behalf of the local Treasurer.
Partner with our treasury operations team in Dublin to continually review cash flow forecasts and operational efficiency in order to improve our overall legal entity liquidity management.
Partner with the Global Capital Markets and Asset Management Group to continually review the companies’ short and long term investment profiles and provide commentary around liquidity requirements and strategic forecasting.
Partner with other finance functions such as Capital Management, Accounting, and Tax to ensure that sufficient funding plans are in place for legal entities.
Preparing and presenting of stress testing results.
Assist in relevant ad hoc liquidity management projects in EMEA Treasury.
Minimize financial risks through the monitoring of compliance with Treasury policies.

Key Experience Required -

Experience in a Treasury environment is required and the candidate is expected to have a good understanding of the treasury function and how it is affected by liquidity risk.
Prior experience in liquidity stress testing advantageous.
Cash flow experience in a large multinational organisation, but within the insurance industry a plus
Working knowledge of cash management strategies and structures such as notional and physically pooling and well as other cash aggregation techniques.
Experience with Intercompany loans and funding structures
Working knowledge of foreign exchange risk for operating companies both on a transactional and translation level.
Experience in modelling medium and long term forecasting and back testing.
Awareness of different short and long term investment products and the suitability of each for legal entity requirements from a treasury and liquidity perspective.
Communication of Treasury Policies and risk mitigating processes where appropriate
Preparing and presenting Treasury Management papers relating where necessary
Experience with Treasury integration effort for M&A activity.
