Following six years as a director of JP Morgan’s Metals and Mining Team, Tom Gaffney founded Ambrian Partners in 2001, and gradually built up a reputation as a a specialist investment bank in the natural resources sector. The group was acquired by Golden Prospect in 2004 (a natural resources investment company) and the combined group now also operates as an M&A boutique but also as a natural resources investment company, asset manager and a principal investing firm
