Investment Banking Analysts, July 2014, Baird

We are seeking Investment Banking Analysts to join our London Investment Banking team in July 2014.

Analysts play an integral role in our investment banking teams, providing analytical support on mergers and acquisitions and other financial advisory services for our clients.

Responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of company valuations, financial models, company marketing documents and client presentations in addition to performing research and various analyses in support of new business generation.

Applicants must be eager and able to learn in a fast-paced, challenging environment. Analyst candidates must have a good first degree with an expected minimum 2:1 or equivalent. Accounting, Business, Economics and Finance concentrations are preferred, but not mandatory.

Candidates should also be able to demonstrate a high degree of numeracy, strong attention to detail and a working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Basic accounting knowledge would be preferred and some knowledge of financial modelling would be advantageous.
