Job description
Overview
Actively participates on specific client and deal teams. Initially, activities are focused on financial and statistical analysis, development of client presentation, and structuring and execution activities. As they develop their client relationship skills, start to assume business development or product advisory and specialist responsibilities. Within some business, may involve initial rotation through a number of product areas before permanent assignment.
Job Description
Assist with both the origination and execution of domestic and international financing deals and other Investment Banking products
Work on projects in relation to companies looking to access the Leverage Finance markets with guidance from senior bankers within the team
Assist in the preparation of deal-related and non-deal related marketing material including creating pitch books for client meetings using both Word and PowerPoint
Analyse current market trends (economic and equity focused) EMEA-wide
Perform various desktop research for multiple sectors, topics and companies Prepare detailed qualitative and quantitative reports used in client presentations and strategic plans, including written recommendations, statistical exhibits and evaluations of company performance compared to industry and market trends
Assist in all aspects of deal execution including organising meetings, due diligence, drafting disclosure documents, preparing marketing material, co-ordinating roadshows scheduling, legal documentation and funding details
Working to tight deadlines in a professional and hardworking environment
Requirements
• University degree, preferably with economics, accounting, finance, business or law
• Previous Leverage Finance, Financial Sponsors or equivalent Investment Banking experience essential
• Solid understanding of Capital Markets and financial products
• Strong financial/quantitative analysis skills with financial modelling experience required
• Benchmarking, comparables and analysis of company financial information, including valuations and credit metric statistics needed
• Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail and to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated ability to work in a time-sensitive environment
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Strong written and communication skills
