Compliance Associate, leading Asset Management business, Carnegie Consulting

Our client is a leading international provider of financial services to Private Equity and Real Estate Fund Managers, based in the City. Due to a successful period and ongoing expansion, a new role has arisen to support the Head of Compliance.

The Role:
To support the Head of Compliance in the day-to-day operations of the business
Manage compliance infrastructure set-up for the firm’s Private Equity and Real Estate clients, which will include performing or managing compliance monitoring in accordance with annual agreed plans
Assisting with the production of client reports
To provide information on regulatory developments to clients on periodic and proactive basis
To provide ad-hoc advice to clients as requested
Participating in pitching ongoing services and projects when required and leading thematic reviews
Assisting with other projects as requested / needed

Requirements:
An appropriate amount of Compliance experience gained within a relevant industry (i.e. Asset Management, Financial Services or Professional Services),
OR an appropriate amount of legal experience gained within the Funds industry
Must be educated to degree level, preferably within a relevant discipline (e.g. Law)
Ideally possesses sound knowledge of the FCA handbook
A genuine interest in pursuing a career within Compliance
