This is a very exciting opportunity for a corporate solicitor with around 3-5 years’ PQE to join a progressive and growing team with a Top 100 law firm.
The Corporate Commercial team of the firm is ranked highly in the main legal directories and has seen significant and exciting growth over the last few years. The team is the fastest growing and most profitable department of the firm, and has extensive experience and know-how of a wide range of corporate M&A for public and private companies, venture capital and private equity transactions as well as corporate fundraising and equity capital markets work in AIM for a wide range of clients in sectors such as technology, financial services and energy.
It is a close-knit team that consists of bright, ambitious and forward-thinking people. The role offers the opportunity for a business-minded corporate lawyer to develop and grow together with the team and the environment offers the opportunity to strengthen and develop existing skills and interests further with the view of building your own practice in the future. The partners does not have a restrictive approach on the direction of the team and are accommodating to new and creative ideas from associates.
Apart from a solid academic record, relevant training and post qualification experience you will have a genuine interest and good understanding of small to mid-cap corporate deals and ideally of AIM capital markets. It is also important that you are able to relate to people, colleagues and clients alike, and to work well in a team. You will have the opportunity to get involved with business development and to work closely with clients.
