EY is seeking to hire a number of experienced professionals from Executive (Junior Manager) to Assistant Director level to join its growing Consumer Products corporate finance team to complement a recent senior hire into the team. Our client base extends from the listed global leaders in FMCG, through regional champions, private equity owned businesses and high growth entrepreneurially driven companies. This provides a diverse and engaging balance of work with the ability to take significant responsibility on smaller assignments. The advisory services encompass strategic growth, new market entry, business reviews, acquisitions, disposals, mergers, leveraged transactions, financings in the UK and overseas. As a member of an integrated global network of you will be working in a dynamic and diverse environment. We will help you develop the skills to become an effective adviser, capable of providing objective and responsive advice to our clients across the Consumer Products sector and with an emphasis on cross border working. Technical skills requirements
· Significant advisory or industry experience in the Consumer Products sector, and understanding of its current situation, development themes and the major players.
· Executive (Junior Manager) candidates should have a foundation of relevant professional experience including Consumer Products corporate finance experience in an investment bank, professional services firm or boutique.
· Assistant Director candidates should have extensive relevant professional experience including significant relevant Consumer Products corporate finance experience in an investment bank, professional services firm or boutique.
· Demonstrate strong numerical, financial and modelling skills based on a strong understanding of financial statements.
· Produce high quality, impactful and considered professional documents for clients and internal use.
· Sound commercial judgment and an ability to generate creative solutions to problems and ‘think on your feet’.
· Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
· Accountancy or MBA or Banking qualifications seen as beneficial.
