Clermont Energy partners is an FCA authorized investment banking boutique focused in the oil & gas sector and mostly active in Frontier/Emerging markets (Africa and FSU). Clermont is looking for an analyst to join its team starting as soon as possible.
The role of the analyst should involve a series of tasks which are typical of the M&A/Corporate finance industry, like review documentation (balance sheet, mandates, investment memorandum), prepare marketing material (teasers, presentations, infomemo), help the geologist and economist of the company in the preparation of oil & gas asset valuation models, and supporting the partners in their daily activity and meetings.
The ideal candidate, beside of being proficient in English, French and Arabic, should have a strong financial background (ideally with a Master’s degree in finance), a good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), and a proven interest in the oil & gas sector.
Successful candidates will also have great knowledge of econometrics and forecasting. Previous participation in certain strategic projects and other ad-hoc financial activities involving frontier and emerging markets is a plus.
Compensation: GBP 21,000- 22,000 year
