Circle Square is working with a top tier, entrepreneurial investment bank with a global reach. They are one of the largest global banks, number 1 in the market for Power/Utilities/Natural Resources sectors, with strong teams in Europe & US; it is a real challenger bank.

They are looking to add Analysts into their Nat Res & Infrastructure/Utilities M&A team. This is a role where you can gain great deal exposure much earlier than you would in other bulge brackets due to their style of work within the mid market space, and also be given more responsibility. You will be working alongside highly experienced individuals who have vast and in-depth knowledge of the Infrastructure/Utilities sector at one of the highest rated global banks. This is an extremely entrepreneurial role where you will gain excellent exposure to deals in a structure that promotes growth, coaching and mentoring of junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• The full range of responsibilities to M&A at Analyst level
• Creation and review of financial models produced
• Assisting in execution of deals
• Production of IM and running the auction process
• Liaison with clients when required

Requirements:

• You must have 1-3 years M&A experience from an IB bank / top boutique / Lead Advisory in a CA firm
• Nat Res & Infrastructure/Utilities sector knowledge is not essential but preferred
• Good knowledge of M&A and the ability to apply your skills creatively to diverse client needs;
• Take a leading role in client pitches
• Sound judgment, particularly in valuation matters, with strong analytic skills; particularly DCF`s and LBO`s and the ability to talk through previous deals comprehensively when quizzed.
