We are currently looking for an experienced US Capital Markets and Corporate Lawyer to work in our Corporate and Business Transactions team within the London office. The main roles and responsibilities will include:
working closely with partners specialising in US Capital Markets. M&A, corporate restructurings and related commercial issues
Drafting legal documentation
Negotiating, agreeing and executing legal documentation.
Liaising with both internal and external counsel to gain local specialist advice.
Ensuring conditions are met for completion of deals including the execution of documents and money laundering requirements.
Providing regular transaction summaries to clients
Interpreting complex legal matters in a clear and concise manner to clients
Liaising with other lawyers and legal representatives in relation to deals
The team seeks to hire a technically strong associate with between three - five years post qualification experience, gained at a private practice firm. We wish to build on the firm’s existing practice and seek a candidate with a genuine understanding of and experience in US Capital Markets and an understanding of the need of clients for rapid and solution-orientated service. The successful candidate will need to have an excellent academic record, good communication skills, developed team-working skills and solid commercial acumen. In addition, you must be a US qualified lawyer.
