We have been instructed on a new recruitment drive into the Structured Finance team at this elite firm in London.

There is sign-off in place to make at least four new hires into the team and the firm is welcoming applications from foreign and commonwealth qualified associates with the requisite background and experience.

There is already a large team of partners, associates and support staff in place and an established client base made up of banks, corporates, and private equity houses that specialise in distressed investments.

The team is able to offer clients with advice on the full spectrum of structured finance transactions including securitisation, portfolio acquisitions, covered bonds and repackaging. There is also a comprehensive coverage of asset classes from mortgages and loans to trade receivables and project financings.

Given the broad focus, the partners have said that they are happy to hear from associates who have thus far specialised in real estate finance and are now looking to move across to structured finance.

Ideally though, candidates will already have strong experience in securitisation and other forms of structured finance transactions from a highly-regarded international or domestic firm in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, or another financial centre.

This is a truly elite team and its associates are sought after by every other firm in the market as well as by banks and other in-house legal teams who recognise the quality of experience and training that they will have gained at the firm.

In addition to opening doors in the London market, associates in this team are also given the opportunity to go on secondments to clients of the firm, and to move within the firm’s own global network of offices.
