Investment Manager, Venture Capital, Mason Blake

Our client is one of the leading venture capital investment companies in the UK and they are looking an Investment Manager to join their team. The role will be responsible for screening, analysing and executing venture investments with a focus on the media and entertainment sector.

Key responsibilities:

•Developing and managing investment funds
•Maximising commercial returns to investors through fund structuring and maintaining industry prowess and relationships
•Financial analysis of fund and investee company performance
•Oversight of investee company businesses, focussing on key budget lines such as revenues, production and marketing
•Developing commercial relationships with personnel in the industry
•Dealing with investor queries

The successful candidate will have:
•Experience within a private equity or venture capital firm
•Ideally part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA,CIMA)
•Experience in budgeting and financial management and reporting
•Enthusiasm and strong interest in media and entertainment sector
•Ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial partners
