My client, a rapidly growing Media business is looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. This is a newly created role as part of a strategic growth plan in finance and therefore the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will play a key part in implementing new Financial Planning processes.

The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will support the development of the FP&A team, whilst having insight into how the business is performing with short and long term forecasts a key priority, to guide future growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities will include:

- Building key new management reporting packs

- Developing the annual operating plan and quarterly rolling forecasts

- Performance analysis versus key competitors

- Involvement in M&A activity

Strong financial modelling skills are a benefit in this role. You will need to be very comfortable building financial models in Excel and exposure to any other modelling programs such as VBA.

Experience in providing management reports and commentaries, insightful analysis is vital as well as the development of KPI’s. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of making a difference to the business. Prior experience of SAP and Crystal reporting would be preferred.

My client is looking for a motivated self-starter who is willing to challenge existing processes and current methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of finance. You must be a key team player and be able to prioritise conflicting demands whilst thriving in a rapidly growing global media business.

For this role you will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent) with post qualified experience.
