Norges Bank Investment Management is seeking a dedicated and results oriented professional for the position as Analyst within the Investment area in Real Estate. The Investment team is responsible for the build-up of Norges Bank Investment Management as a major investor in the global real estate arena, focusing on the UK market. Norges Bank Investment Management has a stated target real estate allocation of 5% of its assets under management.
The European investment strategy focuses on establishing investment and management platforms in a few select European cities. The Analyst will join the Real Estate investment team responsible for transacting in and managing Norges Bank Investment Management’s interests in UK properties. Your role will be to contribute to the group’s efforts to source, invest, develop, manage and divest properties and/or joint venture interests in properties. You will have the opportunity to be a part of a growing organisation.
The position is located in London. Some travel will be required.
Main responsibilities:
• Perform rigorous financial analysis of investment opportunities
• Participate in the coordination of external advisers during due diligence and acquisition processes
• Produce in-depth research on specific real estate topics
• Produce investment papers and management presentations in connection with the investments
• Participate in the ongoing management of existing investments
Main Qualifications:
• University degree with strong academic records
• Experience working in a top tier investment bank, real estate private equity firm, a property company or a property adviser
• Excellent financial modelling skills in Microsoft Excel
• High level of integrity and a good team player
• Ambition to excel
• Structured, accurate, flexible and self-driven personality
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with working proficiency in written and spoken English
