Associate/Analyst - Private Equity, US fund (£85,000++), Cobalt Recruitment

Our client, a leading US private equity house, is seeking an Associate to join its European Investment platform. This company is focused on strategically managing real estate investment platforms in the United States and internationally, and have an impressive track record to date.

The team focus on European acquisitions and invest in both Debt and Equity transactions, with a flexible approach across the capital structure.

This candidate will support the Directors in the acquisitions process, providing assistance with the execution of the transactions as well sourcing and executing their own transactions.

Due to the range of transactions that the team work on, it is imperative that the successful candidate is of a high standard in Excel, can build complex models from scratch and have demonstrable experience in the European PE market. Candidates should also have a strong understanding of debt transactions and be able to run acquisitions in this side.

A keen interest in real estate from both debt and equity stand points is key.

A European language would be a plus but is not essential. Written and spoken English must be to a high level.

It is anticipated that the successful candidate will have experience as a Senior Analyst or Associate in either a private equity outfit, investment bank or real estate finance role, however, other backgrounds will be considered by Cobalt. All candidates must be able to run their own processes, across the various European markets.
