Investment Analyst, Real Estate (£60,000++), Cobalt Recruitment

PURPOSE

Our client, a leading shopping centre investor and asset manager, is seeking an Investment Analyst to be an integral part of the Investment Management team. They will provide modelling, evaluation and analysis support in the consideration of acquisition, disposal and new business opportunities, producing comprehensive information necessary for the ID and Executive to make informed investment decisions.

The role will require an in-depth working knowledge of property valuation and appraisal systems and techniques (Argus & Excel) and strong analytical skills. They will be comfortable providing professional reporting outputs that will form key presentational elements supporting investment recommendations and ongoing reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The role responsibilities will be predominantly investment focused:
•To support in any acquisition or disposal activities with specific responsibility to prepare and maintain valuation, financial and cashflow models which support the investment process and set out clear analysis of key investment drivers (including DCF, IRR, equity and debt modelling). This could cover individual assets or portfolios.
•In close co-operation with the Finance team, to model debt arrangements around new acquisitions and to provide associated analysis and stress testing around key banking covenants to support banking negotiations.
•To support any diligence processes associated with acquisition and disposal activities and the co-ordination of associated information gathering across the business.
