Business Research Analyst

Our client, a consistently ranked top 10 Private Equity executive search boutique is looking for a business research analyst to join their successful research and consultancy practice. The business research analyst will support the consultants in their analysis and research into the Private Equity space including the subsectors of technology, software and telecommunications.

Responsibilities will include:

×      Identifying executives (such as obtaining bios, phone and internet research to determine organisation structure) within the Private Equity sector.

×      Capturing industry information and competitive intelligence (articles, analyst reports) within the Private Equity sector

×      Industry, company, and executive research

×      Database analysis & research into senior executives

×      Project management & supporting the business development strategy

The ideal business research analyst will have experience of 1 to 2 years on a graduate scheme within a research, analytical or client facing role in Professional Services, including Management Consultancy, Accountancy, Legal and Financial Services or have an internship or summer placement within a Private Equity or Professional Services Sector Corporation.

The successful candidate for this role will have the following attributes:
×      Ability to analyse business information and organise multiple points and large amounts of data into concise targeted information summaries

×      Strong degree from a top 10 University    

×      Experience using information sources for targeted research
×      Confident phone and internet research ability to determine organisational structure, job title, and contact information

×      Ability to develop strong relationships to build an industry network

×      Excellent communication skills

×      Be a flexible, service-oriented, well organised individual, with attention to detail

×      Ability to grasp concepts quickly, think beyond traditional methods to exceed client expectations
