The Trading Assistant will join a small hedge fund in financial Services within their middle office function focusing on equities.

The Trading Assistant will join a small hedge fund based in the City of London.
Description
The Trading Assistant will be responsible for:
* Placement and monitoring of trade orders with the global broker trading desk. Maintenance of trading records (Microsoft Excel), circulation of trades and open orders.
* Monitoring of corporate actions and production of weekly and monthly portfolio valuations.
* Compilation and analysis of market data including price performance, FX movements, market liquidity and foreign ownership levels.
* Preparation of client presentations as well as weekly and monthly reporting.
* Ensuring all FCA and SEC compliance and reporting requirements are met in a timely manner.
* FCA transaction reporting and disclosure of significant positions in all markets.
* Liaison with administrators, custodian and auditors to answer questions and resolve issues.
* Investigating and resolving all client queries.
Profile
The Trading Assistant will have:
* relevant experience
* able to work in a small team
* studying towards IMC/ CFA
* strong excel skills
* strong Bloomberg Skills
* attention to detail and analytical skills
