US law firm with established London practice that focuses on emerging markets with a particular emphasis on sub-Sahara Africa seeks to appoint several assistant and associate solicitors into their Africa group.  The firm has a track record of advising both foreign and local clients in cross border transactions in and out of Africa. Clients include a spectrum of international investors such as sovereign wealth funds, private equity funds, corporations and family offices. The team has transacted deals across a number of jurisdictions in Africa advising governments, project finance sponsors, investment and development banks and corporations from a range of sectors such as telecommunications, healthcare, pharmaceutical and manufacturing. Candidates will have at least 2 years pqe of international project finance or general transactional corporate including M&A, JVs etc. Excellent opportunity to join a focused multi-disciplinary team that is committed to further developing its Africa practice and to make a name for yourself in this hugely important continent.
