Salary - £58,000 - £62,000Closing date for applications - Monday 29th February

Keen to capitalise on our consistent, acquisitive growth, we are looking to appoint a high calibre Finance professional to join us in our newSenior Commercial Finance Analystposition.

This is a high profile role involving exposure to Divisional Senior Management across the business, including the Chief Financial Officer. The team reports into the Chief Financial Officer and works across all of BBC Worldwide’s Business Units and Corporate Functions. The team is involved in business development, investment analysis and transaction execution across the business, often working closely with Divisional Finance and Management. Investments and transactions may be of an acquisition, divestment or financing nature.

The role will also involve ad hoc financial analysis and modelling assignments. The main areas are Investment Appraisal and Financial Analysis, Business Planning and strategy and M&A, which involves providing analysis and advice on acquisition and investment targets, divestments, valuation, project management and transaction execution.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will possess the following characteristics:

Qualified accountant (ACA preferred), with PQE experience of the below
Transaction execution experience essential
Valuation/investment appraisal experience essential
Strong financial modelling skills, strong analytical ability and project management skills
Knowledge and understanding of the media and entertainment industries is highly desirable
